Our Mission

The mission of Kids@theArk Ministries is to give kids the opportunity to build relationships with Christian peers and mentors (fellowship), provide a kid-related worship service that encourages them to have a deep relationship with God (worship), teach kids the importance of daily prayer, bible study and worship for Christian growth (discipleship), help them tell their friends about Jesus (evangelism), and provide them with opportunities to minister to their peers as well as people in the community (ministry).

Goals

Our desire is…

*that parents feel confident entrusting their child to our volunteers while they attend the Ark Worship Service. We desire that parents know that their child will be safe and well-cared for.

* that every child is shown the love of God the moment they step on the “Ark” campus. We do this by having greeters available in the parking lot and in various other places to ensure that each child finds their class on Sunday morning.

* that children are given an opportunity every service to begin and develop a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and shown the importance of reading their Bible, prayer, worship and a daily walk with God.

* that children have a sense of belonging and are excited about coming to church and desire to bring their friends to services.

* that those who are gifted and desire to minister are given the opportunity to take part in the ministry to children and are trained so that they may serve with confidence.

* to provide support for parents in their responsibility as spiritual leaders to their children by offering encouragement and guidance when necessary and by also providing opportunities for parents and children to come together and do activities that strengthen family relationships such as a “Family Fun Night”.

Ministry Overview

Ark J.A.M. is on our midweek service which begins at 7:00pm for kids
who are 3 years old through 5^th graders. Ark J.A.M. is designed to teach

the basics of Christianity with an evangelistic emphasis. Each week

children will have an exciting worship service and be introduced to the

stories of the Bible. Children will be encouraged to memorize Scripture

and taught the importance of prayer. As a church, Wednesday night

services have been set aside for mission's offerings, Ark J.A.M. is no

different. The children not only take up an offering but pray for

missionaries around the world.

REMINDERS FROM MRS. NANCY, MRS. JOANNE, & Mrs. Johanna:

The children earn "Ark Bucks" for good behavior, special deeds, and

participating. They can spend their money at our store, "Noah's Depot". The store

is open on the first Wednesday of every month!

We need more items for the store. If you would like to donate some small prizes or

some especially cool prizes to Noah's Depot please see Mrs. Erin Hartman.

Ark BLAST! is a Sunday morning Kid’s Church service that uses

multimedia, object lessons, puppets, music, and a creative gospel

presentation for ages: Kindergarten - 5^th grade.

Super Saturdays are fun activities set aside for the kids that encourage

them to strengthen and develop Christian friendships and invite friends

who do not attend church.

Family Fun Nights are Friday nights set aside two times a year to

encourage and promote the Christian family through fun activities that

the whole family will enjoy.

P.A.T.H. Finders is our discipleship program for children in Kindergarten
through 5^thgrade. The class meets at 9:45 every Sunday morning in the

Ark J.A.M. area. Classes are designed to encourage children to

grow in Christ and find His “path” for their life.

This month the kids will continue learning about the different names of

God and His Character. Thank-you Lars and Tonya Kent who have

faithfully taught this series to the kids!

Toddler Time is a Children’s Church for children 2 and 3 years old

during the 11:00 hour on Sunday morning. Toddler time includes a

Bible lesson and structured play time.
